Eric was born and raised in North Jersey, surrounded by beautiful rural scenery. His zany and vivid imagination has made it inevitable he would write for children. (He has plenty of experience with bridge trolls, as well.)

Laura is also from New Jersey, and is a visual artist with years of experience and an equally brilliant imagination. Inspired by Eric's words, she illustrated and produced this book over the course of a year. More of her works can be seen at laurathesull.com.

They collaborated in self-publishing the book by 2017 as husband and wife.
